Formal Learning
The Deborah McNamara School of Dance is licensed by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) as a further education centre offering courses ranging from MQF Level 1 to MQF Level 4 (licence number 2024-004). The Malta Further & Higher Education Authority (MFHEA) is the national accrediting agency for the development, assessment, certification and accreditation of qualifications. Licences
The school's ballet and spanish dance syllabus' are delivered through the ISTD and SDS GQAL UK, and are both validated by OFQUAL UK and further certified by MFHEA.

Being licensed by the MFHEA ensures that our premises is in full compliance with all building regulations, our quality assurance measures are in place, and that the premises is fit for purpose as a performing arts venue.
It assures that the Deborah McNamara School of Dance is eligible to offer foreign awarding programmes and that our faculty is fully qualified. The school meets the 11 standards required by the MFHEA in our internal quality and assurance policy. The NCFHE also carries out regular audits.
Non-Formal Learning
The school is also recognised as a non-formal education provider by the Compliance and Regulation Unit within the DQSE with SLC number 12480. This means that students are able to include the open classes and performances that we provide in their school leaving certificate.
Being licensed by the above competent authorities reassures both parents and students that their dance journeys, whether formal or informal, will be a successful one.
